Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» There is a limit to evil depravity. Burning sulfur rained down on Sodom and Gomorrah and destroyed it. Is America's end near?
During construction of my current home, large areas of soil were dug up. I found various bowling ball sized rocks of a sulfur- like yellow-white material. Not too far away is a 'sulfur springs' where Native Americans once came for the healing powers associated with it. Today, there is a rehabilitation hospital on that site.
So it wasn't only Sodom and Gomorrah upon which God rained burning sulfur down upon it was the whole dam* world? I didn't know that. Sulfur stinks. Why would anyone go to a stinky place to soak? Thank you for your reply bh! :)
The odor of elemental sulphur is quite mild and is non-toxic. Sulphur springs well up near volcanic sites. The nasty part is when a volcano erupts, thus causing the sulfur to burn to a noxious gas, sulphur dioxide.

Oh. Rotten eggs is not a pleasant "fragrance". So it is NOT the sulfur itself but the noxious gas that has the stench? Thank you for the information Ele and Happy Sunday! :)
The town where this sulfur springs is located is Green Springs, Ohio. It has a vintage baseball team called 'The Stinkers'.
