Rude on the part of the restaurant.

If I was her I wouldn't eat at a public restaurant because I'd be scared someone would spit in my soup. 70% of Americans  are strongly against the child separation policy she helps support so she has a 3 out of 4 chance that that might happen. Anyway I give the restaurant a thumbs up and hope more restaurants do the same. Cheers!

Poor form on the part of the restaurant.  I have an extreme dislike of Ms Sanders, but if I am a business serving the public and she has not caused a problem, she should be treated with the same courtesy as any other patron and served.

I disagree L. The baker REFUSED to bake a cake for a gay couple. Against his religion. So why doesn't a restaurant owner have the same PRIVILEGE as the bigot baker? If one is okay then the other is automatically okay. Or perhaps the baker showed bad form. It is a business serving the public and the couple did not cause any problem and should have been treated with the same courtesy as any other patron and served. We can't have it both ways. It is an EITHER/OR proposition. Those doctors/pharmacists who REFUSE to prescribe/provide birth control meds due to their religions are also showing poor form. Just my opinion. Thank you for yours.

The business owner refused on political grounds which is not a protected class.  Personally, I think the baker showed poor form, too.  When you are in business to serve the public, you serve the public.  As for the doctors/pharmacists, they are required to have another doctor or pharmacist fill the prescription if they themselves don't want to do it.  I think we may be on the same side here unless I'm reading your reply incorrectly.
