Pet Rocks are smooth stones from Mexico's Rosario Beach. Almost all were born (captured) in 1975.
Fortunately, they are unaffected by any human abuse and are indifferent to being thrown into a green pasture for the rest of their days or being reunited with relatives.
So good of you to "reach out" and help your rock when he hit rock bottom. It was a concrete move on your behalf. Did he tell you his name, by chance? Mine is quite the chatter box and talks to me constantly! He found the life of Rock n' Roll just wasn't up to the boulder expectations he has desired. He bailed off the dump truck and just started rolling. He ended up at the beach only to find many of his friends had turned to sand. He was terrified. I saved him from that destiny. He has never told me his DOB. I keep asking. I can say, it looks like he had traveled some rocky roads along the way. His name is Sylvester. I hope yours brings you much happiness. They really are great pets and dont take up too much room. After our first walk together, he really hasn't asked to go out. :) ;)

3 goats, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 5 bettas, 15 neons, 18 tiger fish, 1 wild crow, 1 buzz bird... WAIT! You didn't say anything about birds.. Do birds count? I think they kind of own you.. That is the slew of the crew at the Merlin household for the moment. It is always subject to change at a glimpse of an eye or animal in need. :) :)
