I would think every single job or trade has its labours Rosie......With out these people no work would ever get done.....They're the core workers or every industry ,from farm workers ,the intire building industry , every store like Walmart....They keep us supplied with water and are the main stay of our sewer systems......

With out them we  would all be living in the dark ages still....

Lackies in government position are fretful for their jobs.....there are not allowed opinions or morals ,they are there just to follow blindly and do what they are told...

If you are conscripted into the milatary in any country your personal thoughts of right or wrong mean nothing and you are just cannon fodder for the elite in power.....
I think it's the same in politics......The menial will always cop for all the blame as they are all just disposable scape goats.....
Can you name any politician that has voluntarily owned up to their mistakes.....to lie and deny and point your finger else where keeps your seat safe if only for a while ....   :(

I suppose there are worse jobs than being a water carrier. A "yes" man/woman who never objects to anything and always supports the evildoer. Enablers. Facilitators. Where would King don be without his multitude of water carriers? If they know what they are and still do it then it's their choice. If they are duped into believing that they are supporting honor and truth and justice and fair then they are all wackadoodles like the despot dictator for whom they carry the water. In my opinion. Politics attracts them like flies to honey. They make the word "politician" disgraceful/disgusting/deplorable/despicable.  Thank you for your reply D and Happy Sunday to thee! :)

I don't know how things work in America....when a new president is elected ,does all the staff in the White House loose their jobs and are replaced in this case with Trumps lackies...
I wonder if that's the case in England to....
Do these people get the sack or are they just absorbed elsewhere...?

I believe it is customary for existing staff to tender their resignations and then the new boss can accept them or ask the folks to stay on. Thank you for your reply D! :)
