Staying alive in today's USA requires only two simple things. Become invisible/mute. If they can't see/hear ya they can't kill ya. Right?

"They" aren't the only threat.  Yes, there are wackos with guns, bombs, explosives and knives around every corner.  There are also countries whose leaders are warmongers.  Then there are drivers who refuse to drive safely (speeding, cellphones, alcohol, drugs, impatient, etc.) on every roadway.  It seems that no matter where you turn our fellow man is out to get us.  But your neighbor isn't the only one gunning for you.  Ma Nature has your number as well.   She has floods, fires, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, storms, wind, heat, cold, insects, animals - even bacteria - all at her disposal.  Sure, you might protect yourself from your fellow man by cowering in the locked concrete basement of your heavily fortified bunker, but Ma Nature can still get you. Even the stealthiest person can be taken out by an earthquake.  Even an invisible person still has to breathe.  Is that food you're eating really safe?  Is that water really "clean"?  Will those iron bars across your windows keepout a tornado?  If you had the stockpile of every NRA member at your fingertips, would it frighten away a disease?  So much for "2 simple things".
