Due to advances in medicine we live longer today. Some diseases have been eradicated. They wiped out entire families. Might they still?

The tragic saga of the Bronte Family is a case in point.

Emily died at the age of 30.
Anne was 29 when she died
Charlotte lived to the ripe old age of  39

They all died of tuberculosis

Brother Bramwell was 38  and also died of tuberculosis in addition to which he was a drunk and had the DT's and also a drug addict hooked on opium and laudanum

One wonders what else they would have created in their lives had they lived longer.

We hear of SUPERBUGS that keep transforming themselves into harder-to-kill viruses/bacteria. Will the superbugs rise up against us and once again take us out?

Some 'scientists' think the water on earth came from lotsa comets hitting the Earth. (comets are basically iceballs from space.) So perhaps superbugs are from outer space?
