Ever "bite your tongue" so you wouldn't say something you wanted to say? What would have so wrong about saying it?

I have to bite my tongue quite often, including here in AM. I bite my tongue not because it would have been wrong to say something but more because of "how" I would have said it. Mainly because I tend to be politically incorrect, blunt, and frank. A lot of folks can't handle that. :)

It is very educated and classy to have  a FILTER.

    Otherwise you are TRUMP.

No other way to put it.  If you don't know what is wrong with opening your mouth every time you feel you need to amuse yourself, you will find yourself amongst people as boorish and boring as yourself.  (not you, personally, of course)

On the other hand someone who always says what he/she thinks is very rare. That means the person DOES NOT LIE. How many of them have you encountered in your lifetime Sharon? I will take that in a heartbeat over someone who filters out the truth just so he/she won't be reviled/excoriated/attacked. That's just me. I only ever speak for me and no one else. I never let others speak for me either. I'm funny that way. Thank you for your reply and the graphic. Different strokes. I prefer to know where I stand with people. Duplicitous two-faced folks may say sweet-talk stuff to you to your face the better to knife you in the back as they conspire together about your demise. I have no use for them. I'm sure it is mutual. They have no use for the likes of me. That's life! :) This post was edited by RosieG at July 3, 2018 6:04 AM MDT
