I am guided by Americans who tell me that it is not the law to give up his business interests for the duration of his presidency but since practically every other prez has done so that does reflect badly on a man who already has enormous question marks against his integrity.. I get the impression the idea was to step away from business during the presidency - so that one can concentrate on the kinda important business of running and benefiting the country.. But not old Trump, he doesn't do that anyway... he prefers to spend his time lying, and tweeting like a rabid, illiterate.
A prez is forbidden to profit on anything from foreign countries Addb. His Trump hotel in D.C. where foreign folks stay to suck up to him profits him. All his golf courses and other properties same thing. It is called the Emoluments Clause and from day one he has ignored it as has his worshippers. They don't care that he is profiting shamelessly from being prez. They just love him all the more for his enormous CHUTZBAH. They don't care that he is ripping them off by appointing obscenely evil people like Pruitt and Price et al who are STEALING the people's money to aggrandize themselves. They don't give a sh** about any of it. Whatever he does is pure gold INCLUDING being a traitor, committing treason and turning us over lock stock and barrel to Vlad Putin. They are totally unconcerned about any of it. He is their life, their light, their word, their truth. They are married to the man he is and will be faithful no matter what. No a President is forbidden to accept a title or emulument from a foriegn power. Having a foriegn customer is not an emulument and certainly not a title. Emulument is a paycheck.
