Concomitant with the King don tariff trade wars he is also attacking/battling US companies. What is King don's BRILLIANT strategy here?

We know the man always has a noble plan for what he does.  We know he could not turn on his own citizens or the big businesses he cherishes in the United States. We know with every breath he takes, every word he word he utters, every action he is responsible for he is dedicated to serving we the people. We are so very lucky aren't we? Do you think he will let us in on what his ultimate plan is? Or will this just be a huge surprise gift-wrapped and presented to us at its conclusion?

Everyone knows that the great and mighty Don Con does everything with other people the foremost in his mind.

The Great Don looked out of his golden tower and down upon his nation.  And behold, he saw that there weren't enough jobs.  So he lifted his mighty hand and declared, "let there be jobs".  And behold, his staff parted leaving many job vacancies.
And the Don was pleased with himself.

The Don looked out and saw that the people had little money.  And the Don felt sorry for himself.  So he lifted his pen and gave forth permanent tax cuts to the corporations.
And the Don was pleased with himself.

Then the Don said, "let coal be the answer to my nations plight.  So he axed funding for Solar, wind, natural gas and other "dirty" energy sources in favor of clean, clean coal.
And the Don was pleased with himself.

Then the Don said, "let us go forth and rape the land, taking from it every resource we can; for it is mine for the taking".
And the Don was pleased with himself.

The Don looked at Fox News and saw that China and other nations were treating his subjects unfairly, so he imposed tariffs on their exports
And the Don was pleased with himself.

Then, lo, the other countries impose tariffs of their own on US goods.
But the Don didn't care as he had to play golf.

So the price of goods rose across the land.  Employers were forced to cut back on labor.  Some manufacturers were forced to lay off workers, move their companies overseas or shutter them altogether.  The people saw that the country, nay the world, was heading for a recession so they cried out to the Don, "what the he** are you're doing??"
But Don the Pawn didn't hear them, as he was too busy getting ready to meet his good buddy Vlad ("He's a real nice guy").

Then the Don looked out and saw that the country was heavily polarized country and teetering on the brink of economic depression.  Corporations ruled the land, oppressing their workers by paying themless for more work done.  The 99% lived in poverty, most unable to afford housing, while the rich 1% reveled in their vast fortunes.  And the DOn said, "look at all the great things I have done.  Am I good or what?"
And the Don was very pleased with himself (quick, someone take a photo of me").

WOW!  You outdid yourself this time m'dear. Excellent.  Splendid. Perfect. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious  analysis/assessment. I expect on the SEVENTH DAY King don rested, right? GOD did HIS creation first but King don of course did HIS way better because we all know there is no one more wondrous fair on earth or in heaven than King don. If he were smart he''d hire you. He wouldn't understand anything you wrote because his intellect is MIA and his comprehension never was. He will think you are extolling his every word/deed and for that he will be surely pleased with thee. Of course working for him you'd have to be in his presence and strong as you are I don't think you'd survive! Thanks for the taking the time to share this Shuhak. IT IS SUBLIME! :)

Well you're welcome. By now you surely know that I always tell you precisely what I think. But "like" isn't the word I'd choose! I love words which you also already know. When they are put together thoughtfully logically and profoundly I am always in awe. If there is a hint of irony or jocularity that is always welcome. Words matter. The underlying meaning matters.  When folks invest their time to tell me what they think at great length I very much appreciate it. Thank you for the thank you  Shuhak! :)
