Trump and his followers are being persecuted just like Jesus and His followers were persecuted. Is believing in Trump no matter what as necessary as believing in Jesus no matter what? Why?

Trump implies that he believes in Jesus. Do you think Jesus believes in Trump?  Why would you think that?

I am simply hoping in Trump.

Do you have a link to him implying he believes in Jesus?

I don't watch the news and I had a fb friend tell me a little bit ago that that 'Trump has accepted Jesus". That could mean a lot of things, to different Christians.

I don't think Jesus would be happy with many of our leaders, especially higher up officials. Jesus stated that it is hard for a rich man to get to heaven [paraphrase].

How many times have you read the New Testament? Do you honestly believe we are being persecuted to that extent? I have yet to here of people having to flee and being imprisoned for supporting Trump.

No Trump and people supporting Trump are not being persecuted the same as Jesus. It is not the same scale. All Christians will have persecution because of are faith.

I don't know much about Trump but Jesus was hated without cause. John 15:25
