I can't think of two more diametrically-opposed movies as a double feature, ha!
    :)

('diametrically opposed' --  is that the phrase? Correct me if I'm wrong with it!)

I can think of few more diametrically-opposed movies -- this specific comedy and this specific horror/suspense - - both classics but so opposite to me it made me laugh to see them billed together.

    Funny!

I don't think I've ever seen the Odd Couple movie, but I remember the tv show. Rosemary's Baby is such a classic!

    Glad you're smiling! :)

    Thanks.

I just think these two movies are polar opposites of each other as far as subject matter, etc.
    :)
After seeing this, I asked another question that included the "Rosemary's Baby" poster -- yeah, I like the movie, too!

It's not an Odd Couple comedy, that's for sure!

  • Oh, I've heard about Rosemary's Baby ... I just haven't seen it.

It is an "Odd Couple" of movies to throw together ... true.  :))

I think I've only seen scenes from "The Odd Couple." I've seen "Rosemary's Baby" -- yeah, you got it - - I thought the two of them together was maybe an odd couple of movies for a double feature.

  • I'm a big fan of comedy, but that billing would keep me from going. Thrillers aren't my cup of tea, although I've seen a few.

My brain is simply not working yet -- I see I used your same words about the movies being an odd couple together. Sorry.
    :)

I need to see "The Odd Couple."

  • No problem.  If you like good, clean comedy and/or liked the "Grumpy Old Men" movies ...you'll like "The Odd Couple" (1968) This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at July 13, 2018 10:15 AM MDT

What makes me smile is seeing two people who are willing to make adjustments to make their partner happier.  Leaving the bad time behind and moving on with more understanding of each other.

    That would be true, yes.
    :)

I intended the question on a much lighter note - - that "The Odd Couple" and "Rosemary's Baby" seem to be such opposite types of movie to be paired as a double feature. One a comedy - - and the other a very scary movie.
