Gas masks are effective. The most lethal chemicals, such as the V agents, are absorbed through the skin. You die.

You know those suits they wear in space? Could a suit like that protect us? Or when hazmat goes into a dangerous place aren't they suited up to protect themselves? I wonder what such suits would cost? I think there is a lotta bucks in manufacturing those. Would you buy one Ele assuming you could afford it? We gotta think about those things don't we? Sigh. Thank you for your reply and the info. So buying a gas mark is probably not worth it. :(
