Who is the enemy? I can't help but marvel at how fast so many of our people have dropped their love affair with the Russians. It wasn't so long ago that the approach to the Russians was one of diplomacy, tact, compromise, give and take, "go easy", too much is at stake to be "shooting from the hip" as they used to say about Reagan. Now we seem to be in a different reality. Now, we're to believe that they are some red menace looming over the horizon. Has the State Dept. closed our embassy over there? Are we in some state of war, conflict or show of arms? Are we quarantining their ports? How did we go from a state of constant apology for Chief Executives of the latter half of the 20th Century to all of this saber rattling of today, this in your face belligerence if you will? It would seem to be the worst case of unrequited love in history. I suppose what passes for admiration in one decade, becomes hostility in another. I've got to be honest here, I'm much less concerned about the Russians than I am the "home grown" politically correct adversaries of this nation. I don't need to go to the Kremlin to find that.
I honestly believe it's a mistake for any of us to trust a country that actively seeks to disrupt elections and electronic systems, hacking etc.. and a country that poses THE only credible threat to Europe, to NATO and to the US... a country that has annexed and invaded hostilely a country that poisons people in other countries, a country that kills people who dare to speak out against them.. that's to be admired???
Put it this way too.. Putin is an intelligent, inscrutable, highly trained operative, formerly KGB - Trump is a big fat stupid lard-***with all the wit and wisdom of a sardine that's been fried, eaten and regurgitated... AND we've seen Trump give away military information in talks with leaders before.. so much for national security.. and we have seen Strumpet bloody the noses of his most loyal allies, destabilise NATO and be played by North Korea..

Apparently you were not shocked at the coming out of Comrade trump as he aligned himself irrevocably WITH a known hostile foreign despot dictator and AGAINST his own country and his own people. Of course you are entitled to react anyway you like DA. For many of us however it was a disgusting disgraceful treasonous traitor on stage a**kissing Putin while attacking/disparaging certain Americans and America. I found it to be VERY OFFENSIVE. You didn't. Different strokes. Thank you for your reply. I expect you look forward to this new and improved country. You are not alone. There others like you out there who think nothing is wrong with any of it nd are currently rejoicing. It takes all kinds! SIGH. :(
Your current government is controlled by Comrade trump Zack. Of course you don't stand by it. Did you watch/listen to that disgusting disgraceful despicable show Comrade trump put on yesterday in Helsinki? I expect him to bomb blue states next to get rid of those who didn't vote for him. Will Congress do anything to stop this menace? I don't know. Maybe it will take another French Revolution American style to do what needs to be done. I cannot - will not - stand with a president who, in comparison, makes a rock look like Einstein. How can someone "run a nation" by winging it?
Party bickering in Washington. A president who thinks he's a dictator. Police who shoot first and ask questions later. Corporations raking in billions at the expense of human lives. Officials who accept bribes. Citizens demanding change but never seeing it. Welcome to the divided states of america.
It is now clearly the United States of Russia. Comrade trump declared it so on stage in Helsinki. He publicly and proudly loudly aligned himself with that despot dictator murderer liar Vlad Putin and attacked the country and the people who "elected" him prez. Honestly, both Hillary and Trump sucked. Hillary was simply the lesser of the two evils. The Clintons are in politics for the money and prestige - NOT for the people (despite what they claim). Trump .... well, he'l do anything to have his massive ego stroked (Vlad, Kim, or whomever)
Hillary is not prez Shuhak. She is irrelevant immaterial and not the issue. What we have is a traitorous treasonous prez who flew to Finland and appeased Putin. Is that what you want? A prez is supposed to lead us through a national security crisis. Comrade trump IS THE NATIONAL SECURITY CRISIS. I fail to see what Hillary has to do with this national security crisis. I fail to see any benefit talking about her in any context at any length since she is powerless impotent a non-issue. Thank you for your reply Shuhak. Comrade trump is acting on behalf of a hostile foreign power and attacking/working against his own country. I see that as beyond unforgivable. It is criminal and treasonous and traitorous and yet there are his apologists defenders who INSIST he is doing all of this for the good of country. SIGH. They are a trial to me and inexplicably indifferent. Why that is I do not know. Woe woe woe woe woe woe woe.

I meant at the time of the elections. We have a prez who is bound and determined to make himself look good at all costs. I seriously doubt he even knows what treason means. Even if he did, I don't think he cares. Trump is in it for trump. He's stupid, only thinks about himself and thinks the world should bow down before his "greatness". it's all one big TV show to him.
