I wonder how Historians futurely will report on this presidency? How many years after the fact will they wait to write about the results?

As we merrily roll along we have our opinions of course Some are shocked and disgusted while others are delighted and joyful. Different strokes for different folks. But we can't know what the final fallout will be to this presidency until later. How much later? Decades?

They will look back at this Presidency as 'Trump's Folly' because of the nation's gluttony. Business and economy will enrichen all who choose to participate. Right now, however, businesses can't get  enough employees, so they can't produce enough stuff. I don't think Trump will back off until everyone is choking on this incredible growth.  I haven't been able to get on here very much lately because I am working overtime for my overtaxed employer.

Thank you for a first-person "horse's mouth" reply bh. So the economy is bustling? Will the tariffs do nothing to your company? Is it just hype or will there be some business/industries that will suffer greatly? So far I've read about farmers (soybean in particular) who are VERY WORRIED. Also I read about some fishermen in Louisiana  who are very worried about environmental protections being gutted. It craps up the water which impacts the amount and quality of seafood they can harvest. They are desperate for attention and help. I don't know what your company makes bh but  whatever it is...is it tariff-proof and trade war removed? This post was edited by RosieG at July 22, 2018 4:37 AM MDT

China uses lots of soybeans. Argentina and the USA are major growers of soybeans. The two growers have been competing for China's sales for years. I find it hard to believe that the Louisiana fishermen are concerned with sewage. All sewer outlets have to measure out as 'clean enough to drink.'  It's been that way for many years. (our local county sewer system cost many millions of dollars to build. now we pay $82 per month for a residential connection. That's $82 per month to take a ***t.
