    Not all physicists are certain that wormholes can exist in our universe. But if they can, I've read it would take a massive amount of energy to open one up, and there's a good chance you'd be fried if you could go through one.

    Isn't it obvious? The more the worm eats, the bigger the wormhole gets. That is the law of holes: the more you take out, the bigger it gets.
