Sad and perplexing. Why is it that the folks who were closest can become the most vicious enemies? You hate what you loved! HOW?

    As people grow closer they invest in eachother, invest emotion, invest time, invest everything.

    After breakup everything they invested is lost. "dammit, it is the ex-patners fault". And so love turns into hate.

    It's a concept I can't grasp JakobA. I know people change and love can turn to like or "put up with" but HATE? If you loved truly I simply don't get how that turns to hate. What causes anyone to be that filled with a desire to retaliate with "no holds barred" and any secrets divulged? That is dishonorable in my opinion. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday.     think of it as a swing. The more it got pushed in one direction, the more it will swing the other way when the pusher let it go.

    Because they often have had access to all of your personal thoughts ,warts and all ....by giving  people to much info of your own personal details ,you lay yourself wide open to them if you ever fall out......

    So they were always potentially evil then? What I don't understand is how a love can turn into a hate. I can understand how it can go to like or maybe even tolerate but HATE? That's a puzzlement. Thank you for your reply D! :)

    I understand  it Rosie....  To love someone completly and them find out they have just been using you ,many then will want revenge or want to protect others that he or she might effect....
    There is no one more capable of doing the most outrageous things to you as they know all of your hidden secrets...l
