Other than curiosity does what happens to Facebook affect you materially? How the mighty have fallen. The bigger they are the harder they fall. Predictable or shocking?

I am a defended of facebook.. There are bad things that happen there, people abuse it and it abuses others.. But, in it's best form it keeps friends and family in touch.. I have friends I made over 20 years ago.. an aunt in NZ who tells me things about my mum when she was little.. I have ex-colleagues from a job where I loved the people and still miss them.. Without FB or a similar platform those things wouldn't be possible.

Thank you for sharing your experience with and thoughts about Facebook Addb. Anything that attracts billions of people simply doesn't interest me. I guess I prefer going off the beaten path to find my own place. Sometimes I encounter other folks along the way and have a great time. Sometimes I encounter the other kind and I walk right on by. I'm glad you find value in it. I have never tried it out so all I know about it is second-hand. What I hear. What I observe. What I read. I've always been a loner not a joiner. Originally it was not by design. As a painfully shy child I did not know how to reach out to people. By the time I did it was too late. The dye was cast and so it is what it is. I don't like large crowds. Never have. I don't like large parties. Too exhausting. But that's just me. I sincerely hope you are never harmed by being there.
