The JOB of a umiversity is to educate. Some INCULCATE. Which some?

The JOB and the MISSION are two distinctly different agendas. Colleges and universities at one time were venues of free and open discussion. The JOB was to encourage one to think. Opposing views were tolerated. The JOB transitioned into a MISSION years ago, that being indoctrination by intimidation. You pay your tuition and you're persecuted. It's as simple as that. Now, I don't know what "laughable" institutions you're making reference to, but I'm referring to those that implement discrimination and prejudice against those students that refuse to accept the liberal/socialist doctrines pushed by these people. The only thing a person could do was to play the game for a passing grade while keeping their mind free of obnoxious instructors. I've sat in too many classrooms for much too long and I know of what I speak. Being a liberal yourself, you only see one position and that my friend is what we call MISSION accomplished.

Universities' prime purpose should be research which they should in theory do with a completely open mind. Unfortunately sponsors including politicians can use their funds to skew this. Students also provide a lucrative income and potential post-grads but can only at best be guided.
