Felons are not allowed to vote in the USA. Is it fair to allow illegal aliens to vote in the USA?
San Francisco and a few other cities have passed a law giving illegal aliens a right to vote in a United States election. Is that fair, when American citizens are not allowed the same privileges if they break the law?
I say we should set up polling places in every prison. We shouldn't forbid these people the right to vote if we're throwing open elections to anybody and everybody. I think also, that we should invest the cash in polling places, Social Security offices and satellite offices of the DMV, free clinics, etc, south of the border. It's a real shame that these folks actually have to cross the border to get the things that are their God given right.
Big Giggles! You do have your moments when your personality just gets the best of you. I love it when that happens!! It's always nice to see you for whatever "frank" statement you chose to make. To me, it just is sooooo YOU! :) :)
This is a REALLY HOT Topic with me. Knowing that I could write a novel and an entire campaign on and around this issue, I'll spare you. I'm going to keep it simple and to the point.
Happy Dancing! Trust me. You don't even want to get me started. In fact, my skin is already starting to crawl... So, let's Happy Dance knowing we agree. :D! :D!
I think you should be a legal citizen in order to cast any vote here. Voting is a privilege that should only be allowed for citizens. Let's do an experiment: Let's all gather in a big group, take a road trip down to Mexico and sneak into that country and then try to vote in THEIR elections. How far do you think we'd get with that? For starters, we'd be thrown in prison for illegally entering their country.
