The first day of school was always exciting to me. The entrance of fall gives me that same feeling. I love it!
I do. I always hated going back. My children loved it though. We had some great fun back-to-school traditions.
Oh yeah. I sure do.
I remember it well. I was always very excited to see who was in my classes, what teachers I had, etc. It was a good time :)
For me it was a fearful time. I had new classmates who would try to set me up for a beating. Always someone. Once High school came around, the bullying stopped.
I remember being depressed that summer was ending. I remember the overwhelming dread of school about to start and the days growing shorter. I did like buying school supplies because they were nice and new. In some ways they represented the potential that the year could be different this time, but it was always the same painful times as before.
Yes I am IN school. I have back-to-back modalities to study and it is not exciting. It is terrifying. The pace is very fast and I have too much on my plate. But, some day I hope to make it pay off.
Somewhat, yes. However, I combined school and work for my last two years of high school, and took only one academic quarter off through college, so my most recent academic experience - which is still many years ago - did not involve summers off.
