What are some characteristics of the stereotypical bad guy in the movies?

They smoke cigarettes.

They wear black hats, have acne, bad teeth, carry switchblade knives and have a lot of tattoos.

10. Some of them speak with thick accents.
9. Some give elaborate speeches explaining their plans to the hero, giving the latter an opportunity to plan and/or carry out an escape.
8. Some never get top billing in the credits.
7. Most are less intelligent than Our Hero. 
6. Some have toys that are less sophisticated than those of Our Hero.
5. Some have illogical grudges they've been sulking on for years. 
4. Most are never into tildes.
3. Some wear the best clothing ever. 
2. Some wear the worst clothing ever.
1. Many have terrible grammar.
