If the president's news coverage comes from the nuisance networks CNN and MSNBC and others that insult the intelligence, then yes we'd all prefer blotto. If they went silent, it would be a significant blow for sanity and reason. The man is the president and he is newsworthy 24/7. As one who has deep respect for the late John McCain and his service record to the nation, I'm a little weary of those who are shedding "crocodile tears" and using this event as some sort of vulgar political statement. God save us from the hypocrisy.
This is so odd coming from you. Remember not so very long ago you showed great care about something with which I was dealing? I am a Progressive Liberal Democrat as you know and my politics didn't stop you from being kind. Why do you ASSUME the tears being shed are "crocodile"? Where does this certitude that you KNOW what is going on in people's hearts and minds come from? It is difficult to square the two of you. The one who extended a kind and thoughtful hand to me and the one who is so dismissive and cold-hearted as shown above. SIGH. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday to thy.

I know it's a bit mean of me, and I wouldn't say it of anyone else.. But I wish Trump was a heavy drinker.. Let's be honest, it would hardly make him less coherent and intelligent would it
((hugs)) If donjohn were in a drunken stupor 24/7 he'd be passed out often, throwing up oftener. Less time to tweet and hold rallies and do/say anything but "where's bottle? I need a drink". Sigh. That could be true of course but on the other hand if he is drinking 24/7 he'd be passed out or throwing up thus having less time to tweet. Instead of his vitriol and vicious out of his mouth we'd hear "where's the booze? I need a drink!" Music to me ears m'dear rather than what we have on his track record of twitty tweets and insulting attacks. SIGH. Thank you for your reply DB and Happy Friday to thee! :)
He's trying to be - making baseless accusations of bias against Google. The stories about him on search engines are negative because, aside from FOX, negative stories are all there is. He even gave a little girl the death stare at a kindergarten, while he was coloring the American flag wrong.
This is an increasingly troubled man trying to redirect the narrative away from his mounting ills. As you say, Slarti B, there is little else to work with.
