Does the oil in peanut butter jar brands effect your health?

    Not if it's peanut oil.  Cheap commercial peanut butter has added oils, sugar, molasses, and all manner of chit.  Buy peanut butter with an ingredient list that says:

    Ingredients:  Roasted peanuts

    Adams and Smuckers all natural peanut butters are the very same thing; one sold east of the rockies and the other, guess where.

    Smuckers also bought the third great peanut butter brand called Laura Scudder's.  Any of those three can be bought online and the best prices I've found is Walmart .com.  You can get a big 36 oz jar.  The jars are still glass and make great cannisters.

    We eat peanut butter every day in this house....one of those brands or we get it from East Wind Commune in Missouri.

    I'll check the Smuckers out if a big quantity is on sale!
