SCOTUS appointee Kavanaugh believes a sitting president SHOULD NOT BE HAMPERED by criminal investigations. Ain't that swell?

Just think how much corruption the crooks can get under their belts with carte blance and unlimited power? What a superb advertisement for the joys of being president! Kavanaugh wouldn't be a trumpican woody?

I think a President should be working for the nation. Criminal investigations should not interrupt his current successes at improving the economy.

Govt. costs money.  Money is actually a form of work. It is how we exchange labor. Without money, how could you buy a copy of The New York Times?

I think there is a reason why there are three branches of government.  Congress' job is to keep the president in check so he stays in his lane.  Unfortunately, the current president believes that the entire road belongs to him.

The House Oversight Committee is a joke! That branch of government is impotent and the part that is supposed engage in oversight died in January 2017. The Judicial Branch is under constant attack by the Executive Branch. Theoretically check-and-balance systems work. But  the part that is supposed to do the checking is permanently out to lunch(the HOUSE) and the part that is supposed to be doing the Executiving is a loony tune bent on destroying the Judicial Branch so there is no balance nowhere nohow notime. So we're stuck. SIGH. Thank you for your reply L! :)
