We do. Those in need get free or reduced lunches. Children who aren't on the program don't get turned away... at least not here. They're still offered a sandwich. My school district does free breakfast and lunch for all kids throughout most of the summer too.
In my area we offer free or reduced prices for those in tougher financial situations. I feel they should be free to all students. I wasn’t sure how other districts and states handled this.
