Any of you ever have a job that provided you with a company car? What were the rules for its use?

Besides going back and forth to work and using it during the day on the job were you allowed to use it to take family vacations?

Once. It was a pos. I could take it home, even use it on weekends, but I had to return it before taking leave.

So you could use it on weekends to run local errands?  Why I ask is that FEMA boss Brock Long is being investigated for improper use of government vehicles. Apparently he used some (his staff sometimes accompanied him) on weekends to make the six-hour drive to South Carolina and back. Also I think we the people paid for motel rooms for whatever staff that accompanied him. These folks have no boundaries I guess when it comes to drinking at the public trough. I'm gonna ask why? Thank you for your reply Sbf and Happy Friday! :)
