Where you ever bullied growing up or even as an adult?

How did you respond? Were you able to resolve the issues?

    Thank you.

I was a boss for a while.  I treated my employees as best I could and always kept 'em laughing.

Yea. Even when you're trying not to get noticed.

Where are they????  Bring 'um on!!  Come and sit at my table Zack.  You are more than welcome here, anytime!

P.S.  You changed your hair.  Bet you thought I didn't notice, hu?  Well, I did a couple days ago. You ran off before I could tell you how much I like it.  And I like your new ear, too.  Very Cool. :) :)

I wasn't bullied, but I was occasionally picked on for being so quiet. I just ignored them and I think it made people realize that I was no fun to mess with because they couldn't get a reaction out of me. Other kids would defend me, though. I guess they figured since I never bothered anyone then no one should be bothering me.

Once... in high school one of the basketball players tried to sucker-punch me in the shower after gym class. This skinny little white kid knocked him on his ass. He didn't know I had been studying karate for for two years Nobody ever messed with me after that. .

  • Both, but I never stopped fighting back for what's right no matter the outcome.

Yes on occasion I think everyone has encountered a bully.

I finally had enough and told him to get off the bus with me...cause I was gonna whoop him. (It was not his stop) The bus driver opened the door and said go ahead...I will wait.
He would not get off and never bothered me again. I don't know for sure what was said to him after that but I am sure he got some teasing back after the girl threatened to whoop him.

I always stood up for myself right off the bat after that....most bullies are cowards.

    Yep.

it left me wary - skittish as a deer - take my time getting to know before committing

prefer a few (max 3/4) deep, close friendships to many superficial

although one can heal from anything, i don't know how  to heal from that one
