During the cozy Fox News interview with Kav and wife why did Kav not allow his wife to answer a question directed at her? Why did HE answer?

The question had to do with whether or not she would like to have the FBI investigate. Directed to her not him. He took over and answered. What did he fear she might say? Does he always speak for her? Is she not capable of speaking for herself or is she not allowed to do so?
