Except in rare instances like voting rights civil rights human rights why do we care what BOZOS are SCOTUS Justices drunks included?

Or sexual abusers or liars or cheats or thieves or traitors? Right? How and why would it matter to YOU what they are, whom they are, why they are and how they got there? What skin is it off your nose? What business is it of yours what kind of depravity consumes them? Sheesh. Big deal outta nuthin'!

  • What you mean is, in those "rare" cases that are important to Liberal America, the rest of the docket be d****d. The question is proof of what many of us have known for a long time. A rubber stamp court free of any obligation to constitutional interpretation or review based on facts. The Kavanaugh fiasco has shown that Libs aren't interested in facts that get in the way of their demands. If this was a liberal nominee put forth by a liberal president, you'd be singing the praises of the court from the rooftops. As it is, it's the old sour grapes routine.

Please, Merrick Garland was a superior choice for the Court and the GOP wouldn't even give him the courtesy of interviewing him.

That is the only legacy of Mitch McConnell. Refusing to bring a vote to the floor on Merrick Garland and FORCING the country to be without a Justice to fill Scalia's empty seat for a year! I guess he sure showed us how he devoted he is to principle and country and following the law didn't he?

That's the story of the GOP - do as I say, not as I do.  Let's hope Ruth Bader Ginsberg can hold on until there's a democrat in the presidency.  Happy Thursday. :)

Correction. That would be both parties. Both are childish, obstruct, and play childish games. To pretend it’s only one party is foolish.

You are correct, sir.  Both parties need to grow up.

My biggest grievance is these childish and petty politicians are re-elected numerous times. It’s up to us to vote them out. Sadly, their replacements aren’t likely to be any better.

I suspect your last sentence is exactly the reason they aren't voted out.  If you don't really like either candidate, you're likely to vote in the incumbent.  Better the devil you know.

I would not expect justices to be any better than the rest of us - they simply have a different area of expertise.  But they have their job to do just as each one of us has ours.  They are not perfect nor are we.
