Yes...and I actually watched it. Kinda like Rolling Stone magazine. I think the M means Moron now. This post was edited by Element 99 at October 11, 2018 6:06 AM MDT

I miss the days of non stop music videos on MTV. Now it’s garbage.

I do. I remember when a major recording label threatened to pull all of its artists from MTV’s video rotation unless more black performers (namely, Michael Jackson) were shown.

    Now, MTV is meaningless television.

He's also the reason I can't listen to 'Abbey Road' on youtube. Jackson was a jerk.

I agree. I miss the the old VMA’s when they actually had talented and awesome artists performing. It’s a shame what a joke it’s become.

Yes I do. I grew up watching MTV. I remember videos all day long....all night long. Headbangers Ball every Sat night.
I also remember they had the first "reality show"....The Real World.
Yes I watched several seasons of it.
They really should rename it now....they do not play music anymore.

  • That was a bit before my time, but I do remember when the History Channel was actually about history rather than aliens and ice truckers.

Another television tragedy. It’s all about aliens, cars, antique picking, and pawn shops.
