In a truthful world where lies don't exist but the same evil is done how long before we broke from knowing? Are lies a blessing?

How much truth can we take before we break? Lies are told by liars to save their a**es but don't lies also save us from having to face the ugly truth of the reality of the corruption and hate that goes on all the time everywhere 24/7? Are lies a balm or crutch to get us through things that would otherwise destroy us? How powerful is knowledge and how destructive can truth be if that is all you get 24/7?

We don't live in a world where lies don't exist. Are lies a blessing? Speaking only for myself, no, they aren't. I would rather know the truth regardless of how much it might hurt. Living in denial may work for some but not for me.  How much truth can I take before I break? I want to know the truth. I strive every day to find the truth. It hasn't broken me yet. We already know that corruption and hate exist so how can lying about it do us any good? It isn't somehow magically going to make it go away. As always, just my opinion. :)
