Do you live by the same standards that you ask/expect from others?!

Yes I do. People that say "Do as I say, not as I do" make me want to beat the crap out of them, they're no more than tyrants.

I don't believe in beating the crap out of anyone. It won't make them change. I believe to some extent we all fail at one point or another in following our own standards. I try my best to be aware, or become aware when I do so, and next correct my ways of dealing with it when it happens. I will try to ignore people who keep going against their own standards.

I do and in some cases, expect more from myself than I do from others.

Be careful expecting more from yourself than others. Or at least take good care of yourself. :-)

Good. You should know, we are the ones to take care of ourselves as the first. If we don't do, how can we expect others to do?

Mutual respect seems to be much to ask for among some these days, and quite high standards. I do agree with you, and go by the same standards myself. :-)

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

And "Treat others the way they want to be treated." Or is it the "How I Met Your Mother" version for the Platinum Rule?

Though I may be disappointed or pleased by others, with rare exceptions, I don't have expectations of them.  I do try to uphold my own standards, though occasionally I fail...and every once in a while, I surprise myself by doing better than I thought I was capable of doing.

I do, but it's really the other way around. I expect standards from others that I live by myself. In other words I formed the standards first before I was old enough to start living by them. When I formed those standards they applied not only to myself but to everybody else as well.
