  • Right, but not all idioms are euphemisms :)

    I wouldn't consider "buttload" to be a euphemism, if it was meant to be an example. Maybe I shouldn't be so uptight about it and just need to "take the stick out of my b*tt" (again, idiom, not euphemism) lol.

    It would seem from the definitions of "stick" and "buttload" that a "buttload" would imply that you also had "enough to shake a 'stick" at."---just like if you had a dime, you could purchase a tax free item costing 9 cents.

    And to complicate matters, there is actually a unit of measurement for wine (or whiskey) casks called a “butt”--- 108 Imperial gallons, approximately 130 American gallons.

    But, you have allowed me an amusing diversion for the last few minutes while playing with you.
