Nope. My brother-in-law insulted me whilst we were in Maine. I haven't spoken to him since we got back home. It's also one of the reasons my ex is an ex. I kept going back for more. No more.

  •  Typically, if I choose not to engage when things start to get ugly, the situation will diffuse itself.  I do not go back for more.   We as adults can control how to handle people in that situation if we choose to.

Precisely lavender. I do think that there are some folks who enjoy trading insults though. Why that is escapes me I have seen it occur often. Not my cuppa tea. I just walk away from those who insult and ignore them thereafter. It's just easier on me to do that so I have the luxury of doing easy. Thank you for your reply lavender and Happy Saturday! :)

In 70+ years, have you ever insulted anyone?

For whatever reasons we may choose to have a relationship with someone who is insulting for the good we derive form that relationship.  Which is not the same as "going back for more".  After all life does not just revolve around us and our own sensibilities.
