    If the music is loud it means there's no interest in conversing with me. I'm not going to shout or respond to being shouted at.

    I've only  ridden with one person who was arrogant and rude about radio volume...in fact, about the radio being on vs off.  I generally leave the radio off anyway.  The chances of me having it too loud for someone else are very very low.
