    No. The gov’t will still have guns. That’s called totalitarianism; where no one is safe.

    It’s among them, yes. Your sarcasm is obvious and naive, there is no single reason for anything.  Get out to some of the folks in, say, Tennessee, Rosie. People there don’t collect AR15’s for hunting. 

    Don’t tell me you‘d implicitly trust a government to “do the right thing” with a population of disarmed citizens. Even the Founding Fathers were prescient enough to see this was not a good situation. How is it you aren’t?
