These days to be enlightened is to be scared to death.
I mean, awareness of what is happening in America and the world on a physical level.
I think this entire experience is to advance our human nature. We are forced to evolve.
If we do not, we will vanish. We cannot keep up the behavior and thinking we are accustomed to. We cannot expect Joe Blow to be responsible for anything that happens to us. We are responsible.
If we cannot control a thing, it should be allowed to peacefully resolve itself. Wisdom and patience are needed and judging by our choice of leaders, we have little of either.
To rhyme is divine and sublime. I do so all the time purposely purposefully to please me. I am rhyme. Embrace me or not as you see fit but I cannot forget the rhyme any more than I can forget me. Thank you for your reply Sharon.
Hebrews 11:1-2 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2. For by it the elders obtained a good report".
Therefore, biblical hope is a reality and not a feeling. Biblical hope carries no doubt. Biblical hope is a sure foundation upon which we base our lives, believing that God always keeps His promises.
Proverbs 9:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
In the Bible, the word translated “fear” can mean several things. It can refer to the terror one feels in a frightening situation. It can mean “respect” in the way a servant fears his master and serves him faithfully. Fear can also denote the reverence or awe a person feels in the presence of greatness. The fear of the Lord is a combination of all of these. Do I hope things will get better in the world? Yes, I do and eventually, they will. Do I fear what's happening in the world and do I fear those in power? No, I don't.
