Has everything already been invented? Are there no more stories to tell? How can you say the greatrest of all time until time ends??

You CAN say the greatest of all time SO FAR. Of course that is still debatable since folks have different ideas of GREATEST. Who is the GREATEST hockey player of all time?  SO FAR? I say Bobby Orr but there were others like Gordie Howe back in the day. Or the greatest football player or baseball player of all time? SO FAR? Unless we can fortune tell mind read and future tell you will never know RIGHT NOW who is out there who will be much greater much better. Everything is temporary. Pete Sampras was "the greatest of all time tennis player". Then Roger Federer showed up. That's the way life goes. The potential for BETTER is always out there. That's a gpod thing isn't it?

    Didja ever see Bobby Orr on the Boston Bruins skate? Poetry in motion in my opinion. What about Babe Ruth or Lou Gehrig or Jackie Robinson for baseball?   What about Jim Thorpe? Just askin'. Thank you for your reply. Whaddya mean "too many questions"? Thanx.

    Jim Thorpe was a great all around athlete. So was Babe Didrickson-Zaharias...maybe the best athlete of all time, men and women.

    True. I remember her.  A movie was made about her life which I enjoyed a lot. She was an amazing athlete! I wonder if there are any of them around these days? The all-around excellent athlete? It seems these days it's all about specialization. Of course I don't keep up with it so I really don't know. Thank you for your reply Ele! :)
