Discussion»Questions»Health and Wellness» How do you fall asleep? I just simply put my head on the pillow now and murmer OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE over and over until I drift.
LOL ... Actually, I'm pretty fortunate. I don't have much trouble falling asleep. I read a bit, which relaxes me so when I start feeling drowsy, I turn out the light, turn onto my side, and fall out within a minute or two.
Reading some of the ad naseumnauseam whining of the one-track-minders on this website is like counting sheep! Works for me every time, lol! ~

Insomnia has been my nemesis for way too many years. Sometimes I take my melatonin and read a book on my Kindle white with lights out and 7 times out of 10 I fall asleep. But if I have been working particularly hard I am so tired it keeps me awake, often till dawn. Yesterday I gave up and jumped out of bed to start cleaning lol.
I have episodes when I am worried and I cannot sleep. I try Melatonin and sometimes it works. I have light kinds of medicines I use. Like even Alieve can calm me down sometimes. But when I am in high gear, like something at work when I was in sales? I would be up all night too. I would drink too much coffee all day and I was just too revved up to relax.
Believe it or not, those meditation tapes that put you to sleep on youtube actually work.
