The Army I imagine will be doing Army stuff like mostly practicing drill - marching around in formation and spit polishing their boots and having inspections. They would set up a firing range to practice their sharp shooting capabilites. Maybe also construct an obstacle course to keep in shape carrying 40 pound back packs, digging fox holes etc. The Army brass can think of plenty to keep their soldiers occupied and out of mischief.

The Army isn't building a wall. They're installing razor wire, setting up tents, laying in supplies and probably wondering why they will be spending Thanksgiving away from their families for a job that is not necessarily within their purview.
