When you extend your hand to others and offer help does that support them or weaken them? Do you believe in helping others? Where is the line you will not cross and why?

  • I'm willing to help someone who has first tried to help him or herself.  I think if we don't let them do their best first .. it's not doing them any favor.  There's not always going to be someone around to help them all the time.  The line I won't cross is that I won't enable someone to do the wrong thing .. or help someone in a way that will hurt myself or someone I care about.

    I withdraw support when the person I've helped doesn't appear to be trying to help themselves.
