My memory of US presidents goes back to Kennedy but I have only paid attention to 2 of them - Obama and Trump and I respect Obama way more then Trump. As far as the president for life goes I wouldn't wish that on Obama because being the US President can be incredibly hard on a person after his 2 terms Obama looked like he aged 20 years. Cheers!

JFK was the first prez I was old enough to vote for Nanoose so he will always have a special place in my heart. Obama was the one I respected the most though I didn't always agree with him. As for the others I despised Nixon for the lying deceitful corrupt individual he was and also because he not a people person. Yuck! I liked Ike. The others I liked or dis more or less but I wasn never so involved with partisan politics as I am now. Why? Because I still hope this is a nightmare to beat all and I'm gonna wake and be glad it's over. SIGH. See how pathetic that is? Sheesh. Thank you for your reply! :)
No one that I can pin any medals on. They did their best and they were stand up guys as a rule.

No one is my favorite. I didn't collect Presidents like baseball cards.
However, compared to this one? I would beg for Nixon back compared to this.
I liked Eisenhower. I even liked LBJ looking back. I hated him when he was in office, but surprisingly, he did some really amazing legislature when he was in office. I thought he was just a moron when he reigned.
It was the 60's and like now, we were sick of officials who were not in touch with the country.
Thank you for your thoughtful and informative reply Sharon. I share some of your likes. We're stuck with the worst possible who ever was "prez" so anyone by comparison will be welcome. It is difficult for me to imagine anyone worse and I have a VERY GOOD IMAGINATION. :)
No just the concept of "president for life" is un-American. They get elected and serve then step down and someone else is elected and served. I don't know that I have had any favorites which may be because I never spent a lot of time thinking about them or even that I should have any favorites. Not a lot we can do about that except just vote for whoever comes closest to what we believe in. Beyond that we have no control.
