Well, yes. For example every culture eventually collapses if it's not conquered first. Collapses all happen in the same manner and for the same reasons. After the collapse, people build a new culture same as the old one, and then grieve for the glory that was. You would think they should grow a brain and stop doing those stupid misatakes over and over, but they apparently think they are obeying laws of the universe.
