No it has a lot of wisdom behind it and I would caution people not to become slaves to what they read or learn.
Some Astrologers are better than others and my rule of thumb is to ASK the Higher Self to see what is pertinent to me. It has worked for me. I can see the archetypes, or Sun Signs clearly. I can see the moon signs of people as well by their emotional behavior.
But I am only guessing. It is amazing how often I am right. I can find a water sign in people easier because I am a water sign. We have empathy.
