    The power of denial is strong in the base.  They have that to cling to.

    They will follow the Donald anywhere.  If they could see the Divine and followed that, they would be in bliss.  Instead they have no clue what the Divine even is, so they think this fake bliss, they have, filled with anger and revenge, equates to LOVE.  Oh, and let us not forget the multitude of LIES.   Trump is their GOD. And it is all they have left to cling to.

    So depressing.
