I know nothing about it L. I just read about it because it is just happening now. However I would put nothing past the don of the john to cut off anyone who doesn't "work" for the food stamps. I have no trust in him to do anything fair or just or caring. None. Thank you for your reply! :)
Actually, Bill Clinton signed this law back in the 1990s (Welfare to Work...I think), President Trump is just telling the states they must enforce the law again. I don't know if it was Bush or Obama who allowed them to stop enforcement. Some states never stopped.
No, the work requirement does not apply to disabled or elderly or children. Just those capable of working. There is an exception in my state for Mothers of young children (under 3yrs old)
