How many times would you allow your boss to call you an "f-ing idiot" before you quit and split? Why do I ask?

Allegedly every time stable boy gets upset irate incensed enraged frustrated ticked off annoyed he sits back in his chair, folds his arms and calls his aides "freakin' idiots" although it actually isn't "freaking" but "f-ing". I cannot imagine any person with any pride taking that more  than once. He allegedly does it all the time. Would you take it? WHY on earth wouldja stay and let diarrhhea mouth insult you that way repeatedly?

It wouldn't bother me at all.  As long as I have free reign to do as I do and do a good job at it.  As long as I am not punished for being one.  If I am?  I am gone with the wind faster than you can say goody good bye.
By the way?  I am usually the one calling the boss those words.

If you are referring to TRUMP?  He has no choice.  What person of any merit could NOT call him those names.  He either gets useless hated sycophants like Steven Miller and Sara Huckabee, hated and defamed and sticking to their jobs no matter what, since they know they cannot get hired as dog catchers anyplace else; or he is stuck with people who KNOW what a dolt he is.

So, he either hires equals in stupid or has to contend with the ones who KNOW what a moron he is.  Those are the ones who never last, by the way.  NEVER LAST.

I would not tolerate it Sharon. I would leave immediately. That's like hanging around while your mate beats the crap outta ya everytime he/she gets upsets. This cookie would not crumble like that. I'd leave so fast the perp wouldn't even see me leave. SIGH. Different strokes. Thank you for you reply and the graphic.

If he was referring to them as a general statement, and I was happy with whom I was working and the job I was doing, I'd let it go.  If he was directing that statement directly at me, I would tender my resignation and look for another job.

Thank you for your reply L. I think any boss/supervisor who lacks such control would sooner or later direct it at you. Not my cuppa tea. I've been quite lucky with respect to supervisors. Only one guy was dumb as mud. A Master's  Degree from Harvard allegedly. A couple of 'em were okay and I had one that was the smartest one I ever had and I could have worked for him forever. Happy Monday! :)

I've had a few bad bosses, but the one I have had for the past 27 years is definitely a keeper. :)  Happy Monday. :)

If I did something that crass or stupid ,I'd take it on the chin thinking I deserved to be spoken to that way....
If I felt it wasn't deserved and just spoken out of anger, that would be so different....

I live with who I work for and have always been treated respectfully ....Saying that ,Whoa betide any that do any stupid things.....
