How do you verify/substantiate what you hear or read? Per an unverified assertion on TV what was promulgated? See below. True or faux?

The assertion/allegation on Monday, December 24,  2018 is that "14,600 unaccompanied migrant children are being held in custody."

Separated from anyone who loves them or knows them or cares about them.

It would be horrific if that were true about ONE CHILD. But 14,600? That is mind-boggling and difficult to comprehend. One cannot help but wonder how would his/her child feel in such a circumstance and how frantic and desperate would the parents be whose children were in a foreign country elsewhere for an unknown amount of time being "cared for" by unknown people following unknown guidelines? Sometimes thinking upon such things is not advised. How can you not? I dunno. I can't not.

    Check your sources.  When you have those on your team that would NOT lie to save their souls, testify in books and on the news that what they think or say is the TRUTH and you know it is because they have a history of TELLING the truth no matter what, then I trust the source.


    Robert Mueller is above reproach, so is Comey.  

    Bob Woodward covered the Nixon story impeccably and so did Carl Bernstein.   They would not lie to save their own souls
     
    MSNBC does not lie ever.  If they do, they immediately correct their mistake.
    Unlike those who continuously lie on a daily basis without any facts to back their b.s.  FOX NEWS.

    The women on THE VIEW have both sides covered as far as the issues are concerned and I can trust them to give an honest assertion of their take on what is going on.  I don't always agree, but I know it is coming from an honest place and not to be some toady for Trump and his lies.

    John Brennan is the voice of REASON.  HE does not ever lie for anyone.
     
    The YOUNG TURKS are awesome in their progressive views.  They don't stand for anyone, but HATE TRUMP'S guts for good reasons that they continuously verify on each show.

    and people of questionable integrity like say Wolf and Omarosa, have their stories verified by those who were interviewed by them and Omarosa has tapes.  

    You must realize that the one person who proves that all the lies are real is the President his big mouthed self.

    Everything he has been accused of is ON TAPE and VIDEO.  And on TWEETS.

    He is his own worst enemy.  A liar and a weirdo.
