    Some portions are started and some have been completed under other Presidents.

    No additional fencing has been constructed. There have been scheduled updates on existing barriers, and barbed wire added. There is currently no new construction underway, as no funds have been allocated for it.  This post was edited by Don Barzini at December 29, 2018 8:08 PM MST

    Most of the construction at this point has been repairs to existing fencing. But roughly 60 miles of border barrier has been built under President Trump.  The was 654 miles of fence (most built under Obama) at the beginning Trumps term. There are now over 700 miles of border barrier.
