I don't chew gum, never liked the stuff.
I love juicy fruit the most.
Besides being a kid and chewing the sweet flavor out, it has always seemed like a waste of time and energy. Now days, I'm not going to chance that sticky stuff on what I've paid for my teeth over the years. Don't get me started on the annoying gum smackers ...
Wow. That is so darned sweet it hurts my jaws.
I don't mind smakers because I just don't have that altercation in my life. But, I do hate gum. I want to eat something, not chew the heck out of it and no pay off.
Although I feel like smacking the smackers, I see your point ... haha!
I did not know that. I thought it was global. But then again picture starving Ethiopians chewing gum and not swallowing it.
They never bother me. I don't let any noisemakers bother me. Otherwise everyone including me would bother me. I try and just relax into it and accept that one.
That is a great idea and the only purposeful thing I can find about gum. Good point.
Hey there Sharonna
I don't chew gum because of dental work. But when I did, I loved Beech nut fruit striped gum.."Yikes, Stripes"...and Chiclets, the small ones
The gum I absolutely did not like was Beemans Gum...
I love aspartame for one reason only. It keeps hunger at bay. At least for me. I can drink diet Country Time Lemonade and get cravings met.
HEY DESIGNER!!!!
Boy long time no talk to YOU.
I cannot believe what a gum aficionado you turned out to be. Those sweet ones are bad to me. I worked for Wrigley Gum in the Wrigley Building in Chicago which has nothing to do with this question. I was a temp for about 2 months and I loved the job. I never gave the gum a thought. But I especially do not like Wrigley's gum. That peppermint one is like medicine.
Yeah, its been awhile hasn't it...
Hope everything is going good for you....
Oh man, I Love the Wrigley building..Fabulous Clock Tower...
Too bad you didn't still work there, You would get to look at the Trump Tower everyday...hehehe, knowing how much you love the man..
Johnny Cash had a song called "Don't take your gum to town" so I don't think he's a fan either, me neither, When I see somebody chewing gum I'm reminded of a cow chewing cud, they both have the same blanc look on their face.
I used to chew gum and eat a lot of candy because I thought that was what kids did. One day I noticed that there didn't seem to be any reason to have this wad of crap in my mouth, and I have had no further interest in it. I don't hate it, I just don't care.
LOL
I didn't even know we had one. I have been in Phoenix so long I missed the whole building. Now I have to look it up.
I never notice other people's chewing habits. I just know it makes me feel empty and hungry and it is never a good taste and when the taste is gone it is even worse.
Jewels I could not have said it better.
Hello again Sharonna
Well it is certainly nothing special. Just another glass curtain wall structure like countless others built during the past few decades.
Chicago has a wealth of big beautiful historic buildings that stand in stark contrast to the flat shiny façade that is the Trump tower.
Trump tower fills your eyes for all of a split second. Every square foot of the building looks like every other square foot.
Now look at the Wrigley Building. You can get lost in the details. Same with the Tribune Tower. Look at the old Water Tower or the Jewelers Building and see how long those holds your attention.
